What is Women of Solid?
It is a community for women who work with Solid, are learning about Solid, or are in any way interested in Solid.
What are our goals?
We have three main goals:
- To promote the participation of women in the Solid space by offering a series of educational tools, such as guides, tutorials and workshops.
- To amplify female voices in Solid via different mediums: blogs, conferences, meetups, etc.
- To provide a safe and supportive space where women can exchange ideas, learn, and help each other in our moderated Gitter chat.
Who is this space for?
This space is open to anyone who identifies as a woman and has an interest in Solid.
I am not a woman but I want to participate, can I join anyway?
This space is exclusively for women, but if you are interested in learning how to make the community more inclusive for women, you can read about that here. And read this article to learn more about why women-only spaces are important.
How can I join?
To get started, read our Code of Conduct. After that, you can join our Gitter space. It is by application only, so fill out this form and we will get back to you in a few days. You can also subscribe to our newsletter, and we will keep you updated with the latest news about Women of Solid.
